The nearest airport is Preveza, 45 minutes to the North from which taxis are plentiful.   Flights arrive from Manchester and Gatwick on Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays and can be booked through travel agents or ourselves.  Preveza is not a large airport and flights can be difficult at certain times of the year.  There are, however, two alternatives routes.  The first is to fly to Corfu which receives flights on a regular basis from a considerable number of UK airports.  Once clearing customs, taxis to the ferry port, ferry to Igoumetsia on the mainland, and a taxi to Nidri is a relatively easy run.

The second alternative is to fly to Cephalonia, take a taxi from the airport to Fiskardo at the North of the island and a ferry from there to Nidri.  Our contact in the UK can advise.
